Anna's Grooming Facts

All dogs, no matter what breed, should be washed, conditioned and blow dried every 4 to 8 weeks.

The hairier the dog, the more frequent the grooming.

When your dog has "bad" or "dry" skin, 9 times out of 10 it is because of dirty skin.

Frequent brushing and combing promotes healthy skin and a shiny coat.

Your dog's nails should be cut every 7 to 10 days.

Ears should be cleaned twice a week.

Start, while your puppy is young, to get your puppy accustomed to grooming.

The more frequently you groom your dog, the easier it is on the dog -- and the groomer!

There are no shortcuts to a good looking dog. You have to do your part, along with the groomer.

Most recognized for her work with the Afghan Hounds of the famous Grandeur Kennels, Bandilane's groomer, Anna Stromberg has been
grooming and showing dogs since childhood and, with her formal
education in science, she also has skills as a veterinary assistant.

Anna's goal is that every dog in her care feels and looks like it is
a "Best in Show" winner even if the only place it is showing off
is in your home! With many years on the show circuit she can
comfortably take care of every dog's individual needs from the
pet trim to the showclip. Please feel free to come in or call
to discuss your dog's individual grooming needs with Anna.
